Our client is a small company providing care workers to support service users in their own home.
Problems Faced by Client – Why did they need our help?
In order to grow their business, they needed more than word of mouth to gain new contracts and clients. Although they were competent and qualified in what they did, they knew they had to be accepted on to varying Local Authority Frameworks and Contracts in order to pick up more work. From a referral through one of our other care providers that we work with, they contacted us to see what we could do for them.
Services Provided – Meeting their needs
Making sure that (particularly new) clients are suitably qualified for a tender is always our first checkpoint – as some require specific levels of accreditation, such as a ‘Good or above’ rating from the CQC, or a certain level of financial standing. Once we had checked they were suitably qualified, we sent over our project timeline to manage expectations.
This was going to be the first tender they had gone for and we were new to their company, so we initiated a kick-off call. We discussed their working methods, what accreditations and policies they had, and what gaps there were in the application that we could help with.
Case studies were bullet pointed and we fleshed out the detail using our knowledge of the varying requirements of the NHS and CQC. We worked closely with the client, undertaking several phone calls and collaborating fully on the quality responses to ensure that they were accurate and relevant to them. As this was their first experience of working with us or completing such an exercise, we wanted to make sure that any concerns about applying for local authority contracts were allayed.
Outcome of our Work – Improved Win Rate, Gained Accreditation etc
We were delighted to hear that the company had been accepted on to the Framework and can now continue to grow their business, meeting the needs of the Local Authority in providing high levels of care for the local community.
