    Client Description:

    A local based Grounds Maintenance business, who have relied on our bid writing support services on a monthly basis for the last 5 years with an exceptional success rate in winning new and retaining current contracts.

    Problems Faced by Client – Why did they need our help?

    Our client have an inhouse established bid team, but due to the fluctuations in numbers of tenders requiring completion throughout the year, we are on hand to provide the extra resource they require when responding multiple concurrent tenders. As well as the work we deliver for them in England, the client also has an established business in Scotland. The process for tendering in Scotland requires a large amount of compliance based responses via an ESPD which can be very tim consuming.

    Services Provided – Meeting their needs

    Due to the number of tenders and length of time we have worked with this client we have extensive knowledge of their approach and a comprehensive bid library which we help them manage. This puts us in a very good position to support in completing compliance based and written method statement responses.  We help their team in navigating the process and ensuring everything is fully compliant with the client needs.

    To kick off the process we begin with a call to discuss the response, key USPs, win themes, value for money initiatives and overall approach to completing the tender. Following on from the meeting we put a timeline in place and a list of all the information discussed at the initial call we the clients input on.  Working alongside the contracts team in Scotland, we complete a full set of first drafts to send to them for review and await their feedback.  We make amends, complete a final review and sign off the response documents for submission.

    Outcome of our Work – Improved Win Rate, Gained Accreditation etc

    Since 2018 we have completed over 41 tenders for them. In 2019 alone we completed 21 tender responses with a win rate of 90%. The majority of their tenders are public sector for housing associations and councils.
