      Client Description:

      Our client is a family run building company who have grown from a small family business into a nationwide company who are known for their high quality of service and workmanship.

      With a strong heritage in the industry they cover all aspects of building construction, maintenance, repair and renovation.  From modern eco-friendly to listed buildings.


      Problems Faced by Client – Why did they need our help?

      With the Senior Management Team closely involved with works delivered on site, it left little time in the office for work to be completed on tenders. With the Commercial/Pricing elements covered it left the quality side weak or very time consuming.

      The business had no dedicated business development function to source and search for new contracts.

      All compliance was managed by the Senior Surveyor – whose time would be spent using their expertise on works being delivered not completing endless paperwork in the office.


      Services Provided – Meeting their needs

       The client was referred to us by another client in 2016, as they were looking for support in managing, writing and submitting successful bids.

      Since then we have worked for them over 2 years on approximately 15 bids with a win rate of over 80% including an overall quality score on a large Framework of 96%.

      We have supported the Client with all elements of Bid Management including creating a shared Bid Library, running our Monthly Tender Search, Bid Writing and conducting Bid Submissions.

      On one occasion the Senior Directors in the Company were unavailable to attend a Bid Presentation – our Director attended on behalf of the Client with the Senior Surveyor and represented the Client.

      More recently our sister Company KCS has provided the Client with an annual accreditation management plan to monitor and submit renewals for the various accreditation held by the Company – to further reduce paper work and time spent internally on these tasks, allowing the Team to concentrate on their day jobs and delivering works.


      Outcome of our Work – Improved Win Rate, Gained Accreditation etc

      We currently deliver the following services for the Client:

      • Monthly Tender Search Service – generating 6 leads a month
      • Bid Writing and Management Services for 2-3 bids a month
      • Annual Accreditation Management including successful CHAS renewal
      • Quality Submissions win rate of over 80%
