With over 200 specialist business advisers across the UK, this client has developed a ‘bank’ of specialists that all businesses – from SME’s to larger corporations – can call upon for advice and guidance. The same business advisers can also work ‘hands on’ with management teams to implement solutions. Members hail from a variety of backgrounds, from start-ups to multinationals, but all have board-level experience in the UK.

 

Problems Faced by Client – Why did they need our help?

With such an extensive network of members, it was difficult for Head Office to effectively monitor and manage relevant tender opportunities and communicate these to members quickly to ascertain those best placed to respond.

 

Tenders were often submitted by individual members using the main organisation’s details including policies which were often out of date. There was a lack of central control for compliance checks and monitoring all opportunities and their stages of progression/outcome.

 

Services Provided – Meeting their needs

We have set up a central search service for all relevant opportunities, all notices are sent to a single point of contact who shares these on the internal system for members. We have an agreed process for all notices if a member wishes to proceed we are then able to offer support. We write, review and check all responses, as well as carrying out the final compliance and submission.

 

Through a shared file system, Head Office can see which opportunities have been registered, which ones are live and those which haven’t proceeded any further.

An agreed process has been in operation for a year now, we have worked across the network with multiple member teams to submit and win a number of lucrative and exciting contracts.
