      Client Description:

      Our Client are a housing specialist, they work exclusively in the sector for many of the UK’s leading Local Authorities and Housing Associations.

      They offer a range of services, including the delivery of reactive repairs, planned maintenance, integrated asset management and compliance.

       

      Through innovative delivery models, they strive to achieve positive outcomes for their clients, customers and the communities they serve.

       

      Problems Faced by Client – Why did they need our help?

      Previously in 2017 and 2018 we worked with this client to provide them with an outsourced Bid Team and completed around 15 tenders in total with a strong win rate. The organisation progressed and employed in house Bid Writers and Managers to cover works and our services were not required.

       

      However, at the start of 2020 due to some staff changes and some key strategic bids the Managing Director reconnected with us and asked if we’d be interested in coming back on board to support. We had a very good working relationship from before and were delighted to be asked back to work with this client.

       

      We went down and met with the Team, with some familiar faces and new members of staff this gave us an opportunity to set out expectations and identify how best we could work with them moving forwards.

       

       

      Services Provided – Meeting their needs

      Since the Spring of 2020 we have been working alongside their Business Development Team and Bid Coordinator to complete a range of tender submissions. We work within the Client’s Microsoft Teams shared files and hold weekly Bid calls to provide updates on Live Bids. With a strong team both writing and reviewing bids, we have developed a process which works very well for the tender submissions.

       

      In addition to completing bid submissions we have also been working with the client to identify content for the Bid Library and useful support from the Business Development Team including community initiatives and case studies.

       

       Outcome of our Work – Improved Win Rate, Gained Accreditation etc

       

      With a number of submissions and decisions delayed due to Covid-19 we were delighted to find out in the last few weeks that two of the bigger submissions we have supported on have resulted in wins. These wins are the biggest contracts the client has ever secured and they are extremely pleased with the result. Due to the uncertainty of Covid-19 and its impact on the business, these wins have secured essential future work streams for the business. They have also opened up further opportunities with those clients for the future.

       

      We look forward to continuing our work with this client and seeing lots more wins in the future.
