    Client Description:

    A large national civil contracts company specialising in the water industry with over 30 years’ experience. They hold many large contracts with a number of the UK’s top water companies providing repair, refurbishment and maintenance works.


    Problems Faced by Client – Why did they need our help?


    The Tenders that the client were going for were all very similar and the team found they were scoring low on similar areas each time, scoring less than 50% across a number of areas, although on site they were excelling in these areas. The client contacted us as experienced Bid Writers and asked us to work with the Team to structure the responses and gather the information required to achieve high scores across all submissions.


    Services Provided – Meeting their needs


    After an initial telephone conversation with the Team we put a plan together with the client which involved us reviewing previous responses and the feedback to see if we could identify areas for improvement.  Using this information along with the tender documents we put together requests for information which we then worked through as a Team during an onsite meeting.


    After seeing how well this process worked, we were allocated further responses to work on within the Tender to support the in-house Quality Manager.


    Outcome of our Work – Improved Win Rate, Gained Accreditation etc


    The responses were very well received by the Directors and the Quality Manager fully appreciated the support we had offered them as it allowed him to work on the areas he was actually responsible for. The Client was successful in securing a place on the National Framework.
