Katy Berrill

Katy Berrill – Director
Katy has worked for a wide range of Clients on Bid Management, Writing, Reviewing, Strategy and Training. Katy specialises in helping Organisations with an overall strategic approach to improving their win rate. She helps organisations to identify changes and improvements in the processes and procedures used by the Organisation and Bid Team. Katy has experience of working in-house in Bid Teams and prides herself in providing a personalised service to Clients, focusing on individual needs and ensuring business success is at the heart of everything we do.

 

Louise Lewis

Louise Lewis – Company Administrator
Louise is a key member of our Team, providing the Administration Support which holds our business operations together. Louise is highly organised and efficient, both extremely important skills in our fast paced office environment. Louise has many years’ experience supporting businesses and brings these skills to Bid & Tender Support. Louise successfully deals with new enquiries, marketing, suppliers, bookkeeping, client liaison, research and generally holding the fort!

 

Clara-Jane Hoare - Bid & Project Coordinator
Clara-Jane has joined our Team as Bid & Project Coordinator to manage our internal workflow, client liaison, document management and research. Clara's background in process driven roles and customer services will ensure she proves to be a very useful and valuable member of our Team.

 

Lesley Hotham – Tender Search Service Administrator
Lesley has recently joined the Bid & Tender Support Team to look after our Tender Search Service. Lesley’s role will be to take over & looking after our Search Service Clients, coordinating a daily market scan and sending out Notifications to Clients on successful matches. Lesley brings a wealth of experience in Business Processes, Systems, Customer Service and Relationship Management.

 

John Simpson

John Simpson –Bid Writer & Manager
Following a career in senior bid management, business development, proposal management roles, John has gained a comprehensive background in managing a broad spectrum of bids across a diverse range of business sectors. These have resulted in a record of successful bid management and bid writing to public and private sector bodies for construction & civil engineering, waste, oil & gas, facilities management and IT sectors, with contract values ranging from £100k to £1bn.
He has managed the entire bid process from the initial development of the win strategy through to facilitating ‘Lessons Learnt’ workshops. This has included refining the required solution during client meetings, interviewing team members to complete responses, managing the review process and editing the final document. Additionally, he has developed tender documentation for Local Authorities and provided training for the effective review of bid submissions.

 

Ken Whitson – Bid Management & Review with Emotional Intelligence
In the past 10 years Ken has introduced large corporates, public sector bodies and SMEs to dynamic bid reviewing to produce improved success rates in tender outcomes. This includes strong qualification of the prospect, relationship management and targeting the right message both technically and emotionally to the reader. Organisations include Scottish Ambulance Service, IBM, NHS National Services Scotland and Cap Gemini. Leading bid review teams in learning reviews of historic bids to identify organisational culture patterns that are reducing their ability to win tenders. Companies include Brightstone (advertising and media) and BT.

 

Pete Spicer – Graphic Designer
WHP are a Creative Design Agency based in Milton Keynes & London with over 15 years' experience in brand and graphic design. Creative, strategic and innovative, they work with their clients to create design-led solutions that have a positive impact on their business and its growth. WHP Creative work alongside Bid and Tender Support to produce compelling designs and graphics to support Businesses in both on and offline materials in relation to bid & proposal response documents.

 

Beckie Staincliffe

Beckie Staincliffe – Health & Safety Consultant
Beckie has 10 years’ experience in preparing responses for health and safety tenders, questionnaires and submissions; an example of this being CHAS, Constructionline and Achilles. Beckie has also helped organisations to write their own questionnaires as part of tender processes and has been involved in the scoring, marking, short listing and interviewing potential tenderers; subsequently she has experience of both aspects involved in setting/procuring new contracts. Her advice also includes “best practice” and “exceed expectations” responses together with examples of evidence that would complement the statements made.

 

Darren Ninnis – 4G Consultancy
4G Consultancy provide a complimentary service to Bid & Tender Support Clients who also require some additional resource or advice on the Pricing elements of a Tender Response. 4G offer a range of outsourced services including Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Procurement and Estimating Services. As well as conducting work on site for Clients they also provide remote support on Pricing Tender Submissions and implementing systems and processes to improve this aspect of tendering for work
